🇺🇸Happy National Flag Day! 🇺🇸

Today we honor Old Glory and the unity and freedom she represents. Today we are celebrating a major milestone for our nation's most famous banner! On this day in 1777, the Second Continental Congress officially approved the design of the American flag. It resolved to have 13 stripes and 13 stars representing a new constellation. From Minnesota to all across our country, let's take a moment to reflect on the brave men and women who have fought to protect the freedoms of our great nation!

Today at The ROC in Saint Louis Park (3 PM - 10 PM) an incredible day celebrating the special needs and Down syndrome community! We’re talking 4 live bands, a DJ, a high-energy kids rave, and amazing food trucks for every type of eater. This is all about bringing families and advocates together! 💙💛

👋 Stop by and say hi! We’ll be located to the left of the music stage, where our associates will be selling ice cream to attendees at the event. 🆓 The event is FREE!

Happy National Donut Day! 🍩✨

Did you know National Doughnut Day was actually started by The Salvation Army in 1938? 🍩 It was created to honor the courageous "Donut Lassies" who served these sweet treats to soldiers on the front lines during WWI.
To celebrate this sweet day of the year, I’m treating myself to some local favorite. Lots of spots are celebrating with sweet deals!

🌍🌳💚 Happy World Environment Day! The Earth is sending us signals—and it’s time we listen.

🌍🌿 Today, on World Environment Day, we’re reminded that nature holds the key to our climate challenges. From protecting our local parks to reducing our everyday carbon footprint, every action counts.🌳💚Since Minnesota is known for its beautiful lakes and green spaces.

To celebrate our gorgeous local environment, I'm challenging myself to:

🚫 Say NO to single-use plastics this week
♻️ Make sure I'm recycling properly
🚲 Swap one car trip for a bike ride or walk
