Stop by and get your ultra local produce


This is the last week of the summer hours for the JD Rivers' Garden Market. Stop by Monday-Wednesday 10-2pm or Thursday 2-6pm for all your fresh produce needs (cash only)! Our fall hours start next week and we will be open Tuesdays from 10-2pm and Thursdays from 2-6pm starting on 9/1 and ending on 10/15.

Join us for a Community Safety Panel this Sunday, August 23, at Plymouth Congregational Church!

Come grab some refreshments, meet your neighbors, and hear directly from local community leaders and City representatives about ongoing efforts to keep our neighborhoods safe.

Where: Plymouth Congregational Church, 1900 Nicollet Ave.
When: Doors open at 5:30 p.m. | Panel at 6 p.m. | Q&A at 7 p.m. | Reception at 7:30 p.m.

Childcare will be provided!

Panelists include Council Members Jamal Osman (Ward 6), Elizabeth Shaffer (Ward 7), and Aisha Chughtai (Ward 10), 5th Precinct MPD Inspector Ryan Kelly, Director of Neighborhood Safety Amanda Harrington, neighborhood leaders, and representatives from the Neighborhood Safety Department.

We hope you’ll join us for an evening of conversation, questions, and community.

Join on Tuesday at 4pm for a Community Conversation on traffic issues around Cedar Lake. We'll meet at the rail crossing at Burnham Road & Cedar Lake Parkway before heading over to Point Beach. I'll be there along with folks from Traffic Services, SWLRT and MPRB.
