Please join Council Member Aurin Chowdhury and I next Wednesday, 8/26 from 6-8pm at Sabathani Community Center, 310 E 38th St, for a town hall on the process to recruit a new Chief of the Minneapolis Police Department. Representatives from the Office of Community Safety will be in attendance to give an update, help answer questions, and listen to your thoughts. I hope to see you there!

How do we fight back against rising property taxes & keeping rent affordable in Central? On August 19th at 6pm, join representatives from CANDO for a community conversation with Council Member Soren Stevenson & County Commissioner Angela Conley. Weโ€™ll be located at 3400 Park Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55407 (Park Avenue Church) in the gathering room on the main floor. Enter using the door facing the parking lot off of 36th Street East.
