I just saw the news of Bridget's passing, I am so unbelievably sad to hear this. She was such a beautiful woman, with a passion for community, and her own small business. Our sons were classmates. Our prayers are with her family and many friends. May peace be with you 🙏 Shannon and Brian Long.

Paint, Sip & Brunch is coming to Minerva!

Gather your friends and enjoy a relaxing Saturday morning at Salute Banquet Hall on Saturday, September 5th for a fun Paint, Sip & Brunch experience!

Brunch begins at 10:00 a.m., with the guided painting class starting at 11:00 a.m. Instructor Sally McAfee will walk everyone through the painting step-by-step, making this a perfect event for beginners and experienced painters alike. Plus, Kayla Jo Wright of Linked Forever by Kayla will be on-site offering permanent jewelry for purchase.

Your $50 ticket includes brunch, all painting supplies, and a complimentary mimosa. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork and memories from a great morning with friends and family.

She will be joining us on Saturday, September 5th during our paint and Sip brunch beginning at 10 a.m. If you don't want to paint, but would like to get some pretty jewelry, you are welcome to stop by Salute. She will be set up in our downstairs space.

Here are the details of our Brunch and Paint and Sip! We have thirty seats available. Saturday, September 5th. Brunch will be served beginning at 10 a.m. The canvas painting will begin at 11a.m. I'm so excited to be welcoming Sally McAfee as she leads the class with step by step instructions. I am also so happy to be have Kayla Jo Wright joining us. She creates permanent jewelry, and will be set up downstairs for anyone who may want to make a purchase. You don't need to be an artist (Believe me, I'm not!) to gather your family and friends for a relaxing fun time. The cost is $50.00 per person. I just wanted to reach out and share some special events that are being planned at Salute in the coming months. Saturday, September 5th. Beginning at 10 a.m., A Paint and Sip brunch. Saturday, September 26th, a fall craft Show from 10 a.m . to 3 p.m. We will be hosting a Halloween themed bingo in October, and Our Small Town Saturday Winter Craft Show will take place on Saturday, November 28th from 10 a.m to 3p.m. We still have downstairs space available for both craft shows if anyone is interested in participating with us.
