Dive-In Movies Return to the Minerva Pool!

The Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to bring back our annual Dive-In Movie Night at the Minerva Community Pool on Saturday, August 15! Join us for a fun-filled summer evening featuring Disney's live-action Lilo & Stitch.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m., with the film beginning at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Bring your family and friends for a fun-filled summer evening under the stars! Enjoy swimming, floating, and relaxing before the movie begins. Guests are encouraged to bring their own pool floats to make the experience even more enjoyable.

Admission:
• $10 per person
• $35 for a family of four

Arrive early to grab a great spot in the pool or on the pool deck, as space is limited.

Please note: Pool season passes are not valid for admission to this event.

TOMORROW NIGHT IN DOWNTOWN MINERVA!

Join us for Nights on North Market, Minerva’s Second Friday celebration, tomorrow night, Friday, August 14, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. in beautiful downtown Minerva! After last month’s event was canceled due to the weather, we’re excited to bring everything back for what promises to be a fun-filled evening for the entire family.

The Veterans Pinning Ceremony, originally scheduled for July, will now take place at 5:30 p.m. Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. near the main stage, and we encourage everyone to come out and help us recognize and honor our local veterans.

Throughout the evening, Kindred Roots will provide live music while Power Slam Pro Wrestling out of New Philadelphia brings the excitement to Market Street.
Their wrestling ring will be set up right downtown, so get ready for an evening of high-flying, hard-hitting entertainment! Kids can also enjoy the bounce houses and take their chances at the dunk tank, while everyone can browse local vendors and enjoy a great night in downtown Minerva.

If you’re looking for something to eat or drink, you’ll have plenty of options. Downtown favorites including Clever Cookie Creamery, The Komfort Zone, Walker’s Café, Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant, Sandy Springs Brewing Company, The Normandy Inn, Stoney Inn, and Tipsy Teller Urban Winery will all be open, along with food vendors such as Here to Serve BBQ, Smitty’s Brain Freeze, Pretty in Fizz, and a few surprise vendors joining us for the evening.

While you’re downtown, be sure to stop in and support our local shops, including Chick Haven Boutique, Market Street Mercantile, and IlluminArt, all of which will be open later than usual for the festivities.

For our vendors, if you were registered for the canceled July Second Friday, your vendor fee will automatically be carried over to the August event. STARGAZING EVENT CANCELED

Unfortunately, tonight’s stargazing event at Great Trail Golf Course has been canceled due to the potential for rain and expected cloud cover.

Because tonight’s event was planned around the Perseid Meteor Shower, we will not be rescheduling the event this year.

We’re disappointed that Mother Nature isn’t cooperating, but we appreciate everyone who planned to join us and hope to bring another stargazing opportunity to the community in the future!

Please help us spread the word to anyone who may have been planning to attend.
