Veterans Services, in partnership with Santa Rosa County Libraries, would like to invite veterans to drop in at the library for refreshments (provided by the Friends of the Library groups.)

This month, we would like to say THANK YOU to each of our Friends of the Library groups.
These dedicated volunteers advocate for libraries, raise much needed funds, sponsor programs and special events, and host popular used book sales. If you haven't joined your Friends, contact your local library and find out how to join today. If your library does not have a Friends group, learn more about starting one in your community.
The FOML maintains a kiosk in the library where books may be purchased for a nominal fee. The Milton Friends are looking for new members! Speak to a staff member to get more information about being a Friend.

Fall Into Fun at the SRC Libraries!
Join us on Saturday, Oct. 31, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., for festive fun at your local Santa Rosa County Library.

Each library location will celebrate in its own unique way--so stop by and enjoy a little fall magic! Costumes welcome. Smiles encouraged.

Santa Rosa County is proud to participate in the 2026 Day of Caring and invites residents to join in spreading holiday cheer to area heroes. Community members are encouraged to decorate stockings and write holiday cards for area military personnel and veterans.

Community members are invited to stop by any Santa Rosa County Public Library location during regular business hours on Friday, November 13, to take part in this meaningful activity. Supplies are available while they last, and participants can drop in at their convenience to support this heartwarming community effort. Join Santa Rosa County in honoring our veterans and active-duty service members by participating in this year’s Day of Caring. Together, we can make the holidays a little brighter for those who have given so much.

If you remember when the Milton Library had computers with black screens and orange font, then you know a little makeover is just what it needs. 💻

✨ The library will temporarily close beginning Aug. 31 for new flooring and other improvements, with plans to reopen in October.

📚 During the closure:
• All library programs will be canceled.
• The book drop will be unavailable.
• You can still visit other Santa Rosa County Library System locations.
