🎶 2026 PLEZI MIZIK SUMMER CAMP IS UNDERWAY! 🇭🇹

This week, children came together for the start of the 2026 Plezi Mizik Summer Camp — a four-week program created through the partnership of Music Heals International and CORE in Haiti.

In the midst of Haiti’s ongoing challenges, creating safe spaces where children can learn, play, connect, and express themselves is more important than ever.

Through music education, students build confidence, creativity, discipline, teamwork, and new skills that extend far beyond learning an instrument.

Throughout the four-week camp, every child will also receive a daily meal, supporting their well-being while they learn, create, and grow.

Four weeks of music, learning, connection, and joy. 💛

Last week, our students came together for the Plezi Mizik Grand Final—a joyful celebration of months of dedication, creativity, and hard work.

Through music, these young people are building confidence, finding their voices, and discovering what’s possible when a community believes in them.

We are incredibly proud of every student who took the stage and deeply grateful to our partners, teachers, mentors, and families who make this journey possible.

Jyoti was one of the very first students to join our music program in India, and watching her journey has been incredibly inspiring.

What began as learning a few chords has grown into a passion that continues to shape her confidence, creativity, and curiosity. Through music, Jyoti has discovered artists and genres from around the world—expanding not only her musical abilities, but her view of what’s possible.

One of those discoveries was Nirvana. After falling in love with their music, she set herself the goal of learning their songs on the guitar.

Today, we’re proud to share Jyoti performing the opening of the iconic Come As You Are.

This is why music education matters. It gives young people the confidence to dream bigger, express themselves, and connect with a world far beyond their own communities. Every note played is a reminder that talent is universal—opportunity is not. Thank you for helping make moments like this possible. ❤️🎸

Joy, music, and unforgettable moments filled the air during the Grand Finale of the 5th edition of the Plezi Mizik Inter-Site Competition, implemented in Haiti by CORE & Music Heals International.

Despite the daily challenges facing Haiti, these young musicians took the stage with courage, talent, and joy — turning one afternoon into a source of hope, healing, and possibility.

What an extraordinary evening for Music Heals International.

On July 9, our community came together in Lake Forest with one shared purpose: to create brighter futures for children through the power of music, creativity, and education.

Because of the incredible generosity of our supporters, this event will directly strengthen Music Heals International’s programs serving children in Haiti, India, and Venezuela—providing access to music education, creative expression, trauma-informed learning, and opportunities that empower young people to thrive.

To our hosts, sponsors, volunteers, auction donors, performers, and every guest who believed in our mission, thank you. Your generosity extends far beyond one evening. It is an investment in children, in hope, and in the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to discover their voice and their potential.
