Curtain Theatre & Masquers Playhouse are proud to present a staged reading of The Taming of the Shrew, adapted & directed by Lindsey Abbott. 🎉

Set in a reimagined Elizabethan era, this production of The Taming of the Shrew flips the script—in this world, society is a matriarchy, and courtship is very much a woman’s game. Baptista Minola has a plan: marry off her eldest son to the highest bidder (whether he likes it or not). What follows is a whirlwind of schemes, swagger, and outrageous negotiations.

Performances of the reading are Oct 9-11. Tickets are just $15.
