It’s Tau Xi Omega Chapter’s favorite season; scholarship season! Our chapter was more than eager to celebrate this year’s book award recipient, Rosaly Ramos-Reyes of Hamden High School. Our Scholarship Program Chairman, Dayna Lee-Libby presented the book award to Ramos-Reyes prior to our June chapter meeting; her mother Adelyana Ramos-Reyes of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority accompanied her. We are so proud of Rosaly and are happy to invest into her future while she attends Hampton University.🩷💚📚

It’s the first of June, and we are ready to, “Feed the Movement!”

This week, we are Wearing Pink, Spending Green, and Buying Black by intentional spending with Black-owned restaurants, cafes, bakeries, food trucks, and beverage brands.

Our collective goal is $8 million this month, and it starts with just $19.08. That’s one delicious meal, one specialty coffee, or one sweet treat. Let’s help “Build Our Economic Wealth,” one bite (or sip!) at a time.

Hippolyte, PsyD, LCSW; Stephen Wilson, LMSW; Marquet Sutton, LPC; and Reuel Parks, LMSW-all members of the Divine Nine with professional backgrounds in mental health.
