Wesleyan Upward Bound Math & Science - UBMS The UB and UBMS programs at Wesleyan University. The UBMS Program assists students in the college preparation, identification, and application process.

Wesleyan University’s UBMS Program is a comprehensive program developed to enhance the academic skills and preparation of talented high school students who have an interest in pursuing higher education. While providing students with academic support, the program also provides hands-on science and math experience and exploration. It also provides a six-week summer program on the campus of Wesleyan

University, and an after school and Saturday Program during the academic year. Students participate until their high school graduation.

Last Saturday our students and tutors worked together on their personal statements for college apps. Students shared what values and aspects of their lives/personalities were most important to them as they reflected on how they could incorporate these into their statements! They also hand-crafted a graphic to help them visualize what qualities matter to them most. We heard great conversations as students shared amongst their peers. ✨
