The very first Tuesday In November welcomes you to The W. F. Moran Bladesmith & Artisan Academy. The doors are open from 9-2 each Tuesday as we welcome Artisan & Maker Erin Aylor to the Forge. Come in and see what he’s up to this week. 🗡️🔪

Wednesday at the Bill Moran Historic Forge. Doors open at 9:00 until 2:00. Come for a visit and tour of the shop. Our VP Gordon Conner will be be working there. Gordon has a new project, after dedicating so many weeks and months to knives for our show he has decided to work on a muzzle loader project for a while. Come and check out his progress. Watch for the RED FLAG 🔪🗡️👍

Welcome Beginner Bladesmithing Students Day 2.
The temperature is rather cool outside but theses new makers can attest to how hot the forge gets even on the coldest of days.
This 2 day adventure takes the most novice individuals and allows their creative side to come out for a new and exciting skill.

End of another wonderful week at the Moran Forge & Academy!
I am sure many will come by the corner of Hollow road and Rt. 40 in the next two days and wonder “What is going on now”! Well we’re training our next class of makers. Our Beginners Bladesmith class is in session on Saturday and Sunday. Stay tuned for pictures and updates. 🔪🗡️

What an absolutely beautiful morning here In Middletown,
and if your looking for something special to do come out to Bill Moran’s historical shop for a visit. The address is 4246 Old National Pike, you can’t miss the RED OPEN FLAG in front of the white shop.
Our VP Gordon Conner is in the shop and I believe he’s is working on his muzzle loader today. Yes we are all about knives, but we are also about craftsmanship.
Check us out from 9-2 today and every Wednesday. 🔪🗡️

Coming down from our Block Buster show on Saturday is wonderful to know that so many people attended and gave us many compliments.
We are back to the daily routine EXCEPT our normal Tuesday includes Erin Aylor in the Academy Forge. Life has a way of rearranging our schedules and so Erin will be working from home today while his water heater is being replaced. He will be back next week creating and making something special.
As some may know this coming weekend is one of our Beginners Bladesmith 2 day courses. We received notice yesterday that one of our students had to cancel last minute. So we have one open slot. First person to contact me gets that position. 240-344-3573 call or text.
