Beckett James Hartner Memorial Fund

Beckett James Hartner Memorial Fund He lived for visits to the fire house to see his Dad and all his "uncles and aunts" at the firehouse to play on the fire trucks.

The BJH Memorial fund was created in memory of Beckett James Hartner, who was an energetic, fearless, and adventurous 2.5 year old that kept his parents on their toes from the day he was born. He could always be found wearing his cowboy boots, chasing his cat Callie or in the barn getting dirty with his sister's 4-H pigs. He was notorious for getting into all kids of mischief. He loved his “girls”

Ansie, Addie & Livi more than anything, keeping up with them from the day he was born. Though Beckett's life was unexpectedly cut short, he left a lasting mark on this earth and in many hearts. All donations to the BJH Memorial fund are used to support the community and individuals in many different ways. To date, the funds have provided 4-H project scholarships to two Howard County 4-H youth. We are in the process of selecting and sponsoring an individual from the Frederick Department of Fire and Rescue Services, Union IAFF 3666 to attend the Key City Fire Conference. As well, we are in the works of a donation project to the new Middletown Library. These are the first of many sponsorships to come supported by the BJH Memorial Fund.
