Behind every great event are some pretty incredible creative partners! From invitations and banners to event programs, T-shirts, and more, there's a whole lot of creativity, generosity, and heart behind the scenes!

Today, we're celebrating three amazing partners who generously share their talents and resources to help bring Gilda's Club Wisconsin's mission to life.

AlphaGraphics | Bringing Our Mission to Print: Alpha Graphics helps turn our ideas into something tangible! Experts in professional printing and marketing materials, their generosity makes so much of our work possible. From Backyard BBQ invitations, programs, and banners to Red Doors Golf booklets, Run/Walk signage, mailed pieces, and informational flyers, their support can be seen throughout our events and beyond!

Firepower Creative | Turning Ideas Into Impact: The talented team at Firepower Creative helps us tell our story through beautiful, meaningful design! They generously share their expertise in graphic design and branding to create event invitations, programs, booklets, banners, website graphics, our sponsorship booklet, Gratitude Report, and more. Their creativity helps our mission shine!

Chelsey Gomez | Creativity With Heart: Chelsey shares her artistic talents with our community in so many special ways! Along with supporting our Tough Friends Art Club, she designed our 2026 Gilda's Run/Walk T-shirt and created fun new designs for our merchandise store. Her creativity brings joy, personality, and connection to everything she touches!

To AlphaGraphics, Firepower Creative, and Chelsey Gomez—THANK YOU!

Your generosity goes far beyond printing, design, and artwork. By sharing your talents and resources, you help us create memorable events, connect with our community, and direct more resources toward providing free emotional support, cancer education, healthy living programs, and connection for individuals and families impacted by cancer across Wisconsin.

We're so grateful to have you as part of the Gilda's Club family. Thank you for helping bring our mission to life, one creative project at a time! ❤️

Last night, Gilda's clubhouse was filled with forest creatures, little superheroes, a Monarch butterfly, Pokemon, and more...it must be Noogiefest! Our annual Halloween social was a blast.

This year's theme was the rainforest, and the games, decor, and crafts all fit that theme, along with many of the costumes! There was an obstacle course, rainforest slime, rock painting, make-your-own clay creatures, fishing, Pokemon, and so much more.

This event was free and open to the public, thanks to a generous sponsorship from the Levy Giving Fund. They also provided some extra-special Disney magic, much to the delight of the attendees!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made last night possible. In addition, we want to thank:

-Edgewood University's Child Life Association for the incredible games and crafts
-Jing and Fransisco for the always-popular Pokemon
-James The Magician for bringing the magic
-A Moment of Magic at Wisconsin for bringing the joy
- Madison Capitols Hockey Club for helping make sure everyone was well-fed
- National Charity League Inc - Madison Area Chapter for the delicious goodies
-Baker Tilly and McClone Insurance for the delicious chilis and baked goods
-Arden Property Group for transforming the clubhouse into a rainforest
-Our incredible additional volunteers who helped make the night fun and memorable

Next up in our Staff Pet Series, meet Mimi and Ava! They belong to Program Assistant Allison Olson.

Allison shares, "Mimi is 6 and has the white patches. Her favorite pastime is chasing her tail. She can understand and respond to several words and phrases.
Ava is 4 and when I got her, she taught Mimi to participate in her favorite pastime, which is wrestling. Ava loves to follow Mimi around and copy what she does."

The group gently crunched on fallen leaves when they heard it- “Hoo-h’HOO-hoo-hoo.” A Great Horned Owl! Soon, other owls joined the first in a chorus of calls, and the group broke out into grins.

“Spooky Season Night Hike” was one of over two dozen “Everyday Adventures” held this year and last. What are Everyday Adventures through Gilda’s Club? These experiences might include a hike, a bike ride, a horse encounter, or an owl prowl. They offer individuals touched by cancer an opportunity to be present, reset, reconnect with themselves and others, and begin to feel whole again. Best of all, they are provided entirely at no charge to those impacted by cancer.

Barbara is one of our most avid adventurers. She has attended several Everyday Adventures, from a spring ephemerals hike to foraging to butterfly hikes and more.

“If you asked me to describe myself two years ago, I would have told you that I’m a mum, a grandma, a dog owner, a gardener, a naturalist and book lover. Now I would add cancer patient to my resume of life,” she shares.

What. A. Day. ❤️

Gilda’s Run/Walk 2026 was an incredible reminder of what happens when our community comes together—and YOU made it possible.

🏃‍♀️ We ran.
🚶 We walked.
❤️ We showed up for our community facing cancer.
🎉 And together, we raised more than $128,000—and counting!

Every step, donation, fundraising ask, volunteer shift, sponsorship, and cheer helps Gilda’s Club Wisconsin provide emotional support, cancer education, healthy living programs, and connection to individuals and families impacted by cancer—at no cost to them.

A huge congratulations to our fundraising champions: Ginny Ragatz, Beatrice & Henry Netzler, Team Ginny, and Team Marge! And a special thank you to our Presenting Sponsors Abbott (formerly Exact Sciences), Levy Giving Fund, Ruth's Chris Steak House - Madison / Middleton, WI, and WKOW 27, along with every sponsor, partner, vendor, volunteer, fundraiser, and participant who made the day so special.

$128,000+ raised. Hundreds of people showing up. One incredible community. ❤️

Thank you for making every step count.
