Gio's Garden

Gio's Garden is a respite care facility serving the Greater Madison and Dane County Area One of those is respite care. But, as with all things, this costs money.

Parents of special needs children sometimes struggle to find and gain access to basic services. After getting wait-listed and discovering they were not alone, Giovanni Giordan's parents took matters into their own hands. They found other parents in Southcentral Wisconsin, hundreds of families, waiting for years for something as simple as a few hours of respite to run errands, take a nap, spend ti

me with their other kids…take a small break from 24 hours of caring for a sick child. So, Gio’s Garden was born from parents of special needs children and caregivers who want to help other families who are struggling. Gio’s Garden’s hope is for a safe environment where parents of special needs children (birth to 6) can bring them for a few hours a week so they can have a small break. As Gio’s Garden grows, so can services it wants to provide. To make his garden grow for other children like him, Gio needs your help. Consider donating to Gio’s Garden today so you can plant a small seed for a child and his or her family that will one day grow into a beautiful flower.

We want to big thank you to Goodman’s Jewelers! This Spring, Goodman’s Jewelers in downtown Madison had a great reason to celebrate. After a building flood forced them to close and renovate their store, they threw a great grand-re-opening party. And because the Goodman’s Jeweler’s family values their community, they chose to give a portion of their re-opening weekend proceeds to Gio’s Garden.

We are so honored that they thought of us when they didn’t need to. It was very generous, and we are so incredibly thankful for their kindness. Definitely when you’re ready to make a special jewelry purchase, head to Goodman’s Jewelers! 🌷💚

What an incredible Saturday night for Humorology and Gio’s Garden! 💚🌷

We experienced the results of a school year’s worth of hard work, rehearsals, and philanthropy. We are blown away by everything accomplished by these UW Madison students! The performances were amazing, and we feel so incredibly blessed to have been part of such a special event.

Humorology announced an amazing fundraising result over the course of the school year, they raised an amazing $850,000 to support Gio’s! We truly can’t put into words how grateful we are.

To everyone involved with Humorology, thank you. We wouldn’t be here without your dedication and passion. You made a real difference, and it means everything to us.

Thank you again for all the hard work and love you put into making this happen!
