Words from Adrienne…

“At first I was doing horseback. Then as I got older I kind of fell into a little depression. And I saw that me grooming horses, me taking care of them, me making them feel better, made me feel better. I started to be more comfortable with doing ground work.

“Self advocating for myself is a huge thing as well. Me speaking up for myself, me saying how I feel without being afraid to possibly disappoint someone.

“I was not in the greatest of shape starting here. But as time has grown, my roots are strengthening and I'm able to do things that not a lot of people thought I could do.”

Milo needs your help!

Recently, Milo, who has done so much for so many, has been losing weight and feeling very sleepy. He is not his sure-footed self. Either he is partying with the boys late into the night or something else is going on.

In light of his need for further work-up, in this year of the horse, we are reaching out to you directly to help him.

For a donation of $10 and up, your name will be added to the "Feel Better Soon, Milo" card so that we can investigate further.

Donate here or at the Help the Herd link in bio.

Giselle shares her story…

“The first time I came here I was 3.
My first horse that I started riding was Snuffy.”

“My number one goal is to become a horse trainer and to learn everything I can about how to become one.”

“I would like to work with horses that are meant to help kids on the spectrum learn how to ride and work around horses. With Kids on the spectrum, it helps them to fulfill their love of animals, but it also helps them improve skills that they will need for out there in the world.”
