🐾 COURTESY POST: MEET HENRY! 🐾

Henry may have come from a hoarding situation, but he certainly hasn’t let his past take away his ability to love. ❤️

This handsome 2-year-old is incredibly affectionate, playful with other dogs, and a big fan of toys. He tends to prefer the ladies, but don’t worry, guys — a piece of chicken can usually win him over! 😂🐔

Henry can be nervous in new surroundings, so he’ll need a patient family willing to give him time to settle in and realize he’s finally safe. Once he does, prepare to lose all concept of personal space! Henry wants to be as close to his people as possible and is happiest simply being near you.

He sleeps peacefully in his crate at night, is housetrained, and is currently learning to walk nicely on a leash.

🐾 2 years old
🐾 Neutered
🐾 Up to date on vaccinations
🐾 Microchipped
🐾 Housetrained
🐾 Dog-friendly
🐾 Fostered in Barnegat, NJ

Henry has left his old life behind. Now he just needs someone to show him how good his next chapter can be. 🏡❤️

Henry is available through Pound Dog Found Dog Animal Rescue.

🐾 COURTESY POST: FIFI & MIMI 🐾

Sometimes the best way to heal is with your best friend by your side. ❤️

Meet Fifi & Mimi, two sweet, 2-year-old Chihuahuas who came from a heartbreaking hoarding case involving 75 dogs. After everything they experienced early in life, these girls have formed an incredible bond and are ready to find a forever home together.

Fifi and Mimi can be shy at first and understandably crave reassurance, but once they feel safe, they love human contact, snuggles, and being close to their people. After spending so much of their lives confined, they’ve also discovered how much they love being outdoors and exploring.

Because of their history, a securely fenced area will be required so they can safely enjoy their new surroundings.

🐾 Approximately 2 years old
🐾 Spayed
🐾 Up to date on vaccinations
🐾 Microchipped
🐾 Fostered in Barnegat, NJ
🐾 Bonded and looking for a home together

These two have already been through enough. Now they deserve a safe, loving home where they can finally settle in and enjoy the life they should have always had.

After all, two Chihuahuas means twice the love! 🐶❤️🐶

Fifi & Mimi are available through Pound Dog Found Dog Animal Rescue.

🐾 COURTESY POST: MEET ARTHUR PENDRAGON 🐾
📍 Currently with one of our shelter partners in Texas

At approximately 12 years old, Arthur Pendragon should be spending his days curled up somewhere warm, safe, and loved. Instead, this sweet senior was recently found alone on the side of a highway, narrowly avoiding being struck by multiple vehicles.

Thankfully, a Good Samaritan stopped, got Arthur to safety, and brought him to the shelter.

Arthur was already microchipped, giving everyone hope that someone was looking for him. Sadly, his owner never came to reclaim him.

Now, Arthur is looking for something much more important than where he's been: where he'll spend the rest of his life. ❤️

Arthur is an approximately 12-year-old Rat Terrier mix weighing just 17 pounds. He's neutered, affectionate, and appreciates life's simple things: a warm lap, a cozy bed, plenty of cuddles, and someone to call his own.

He isn't asking for much. Arthur just needs a safe place to land and someone who will give him the love and comfort every senior dog deserves.

Arthur may be in Texas, but if we can find the right adopter, we will arrange to have him transported up to New Jersey! 🚐🐾

Please share Arthur's story, especially with our New Jersey friends. Somewhere out there is the person who can give this little gentleman the retirement he deserves.

Arthur survived the highway. Now let's find him a road home. 🐾❤️

🐾 CALLING ALL GSARC ALUMNI! 🐾

One of our favorite parts of rescue is getting to see what happens after adoption day. ❤️

Now we want to see YOUR GSARC alumni! 🐶🐱

Drop a photo in the comments and show us how much your furry family member has grown since their adoption! Even better, share a Then & Now so we can see their transformation.

Whether you adopted from us last month or years ago, we want to see them all!

📸 Flood our comments with your GSARC alumni!

Because adoption day isn't the end of their rescue story.
It's the beginning of everything that comes next. 💚🐾

🐾 Mama Bayway & Her Babies Update! 🧡

Can you believe Cheese Doodle, and Cheese Puff are already three weeks old? These tiny orange nuggets are growing quickly, finding their little feet, and becoming more curious about the world around them every day.

Mama Bayway continues to be an incredible mother, keeping her babies safe, well-fed, and surrounded by love. For now, the kittens still have plenty of growing and learning to do—but we couldn’t resist sharing this adorable update!

Thank you to everyone who has supported this sweet little family and followed their journey. We can’t wait to watch their personalities emerge over the coming weeks! 🐱🧀
