HIDDEN GEMS is being relocated to the Monroe Township SENIOR CENTER at 12 Halsey Reed Road, Monroe Twp.

Doors open at 5:30pm and is limited to FIRST 300 PEOPLE.
So make sure to arrive early to guarantee a seat.

Due to the extreme heat advisory, tonight's MUSIC IN THE PARK free concert performance of ECO DEL SUR is being relocated to the Monroe Township SENIOR CENTER at 12 Halsey Reed Road, Monroe Twp.

In Honor of Black History Month, the Monroe Township Public Library will be presenting the virtual program SCHOOLS FOR THE COLORED on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 2pm.

Join the lecture on Zoom with Wendel White, an award-winning photographer and Distinguished Professor of Art and American Studies at Stockton University. Professor White will discuss historical photographs of locations and buildings where schools for the colored stood within southern New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. These images represent the architecture and geography of America’s educational apartheid as part of the African American experience in education.

After much delay due to some technical difficulties, we are finally able to go live with the VIRTUAL Annual Juried Art Show 2022. This is an extension of the live in-person show which was presented at the Monroe Township Public Library last month from October 8th to the 15th. The virtual exhibit highlights the art of talented members of our community and also features a special selection of art that are only part of the virtual show. Please feel free to visit as often as you like and please provide comment and feedback on any of the artwork displayed and the virtual gallery experience. It will be available to attend anytime by going to the link below.

Seeking actors of all ages, genders, and ethnicities. Breakdown:
Prince Dauntless (late teens-26,Tenor), Princess Winnifred (late
teens-24, mezzo soprano), Queen Aggravaine (Alto), Jester
(Tenor), King Sextimus (Silent), Lady Larkin (late teens-24,
Soprano), Minstrel (Tenor), Wizard (Baritone), Sir Harry (20-26),
Lady Mabelle (Alto), Lady Rowena (Soprano), Nightingale
(Soprano), and Ensemble (Knights, Soldiers, Servants, Ladies in
Waiting).
Actors should prepare 16-32 bars of a musical selection from
standard musical theatre literature. If called back, please be
prepared to move/dance.
