On the last day of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to honor and send positive vibes to all the patients and families who live in a reality affected by cancer every day, in every month. We spent the month of September raising awareness with a banner displayed at the Municipal Plaza and replenishing our Smiles for Om rock garden in Thompson Park. Today and every day 💜

At the Monroe Township Middle School 8th Grade Awards Ceremony this past Thursday, 3 deserving graduating 8th graders received the Om Parikh Memorial Award for Optimism. These students were nominated by their teachers for embodying Om’s positivity and selflessness in their attitudes, behavior, and interactions with everyone around them, and chosen from the largest pool of nominations for the award to date. Congratulations to all of the wonderful students and their families! 💜

At last week’s Senior Awards ceremony on May 20, the Om Foundation awarded 8 graduating seniors from Monroe Township High School with the Om Parikh Memorial Award for Optimism! These students were recognized for their positive attitudes and work to change the world around them. Congratulations to all of them and their proud families! 💜
