Your property tax bill might shrink. But have you checked the receipt? 🧾

Miami-Dade could lose $385.8 million in the first year and nearly $697 million in the second if property taxes are cut. That money funds firefighters, libraries, parks, Jackson Health System and after-school programs, etc. When funding drops, the costs don't disappear. They come back to us as fees, cuts and higher rent.

The property tax amendment (Amendment 3) is on your November 3rd ballot. Make sure you can vote on it!

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Every 24 hours, someone in Miami-Dade becomes a statistic instead of a survivor. In 2024, women were nearly 70% of all domestic violence victims in our county, and were victimized at more than double the rate of men, 5.5 per 1,000 women, compared to 2.5 per 1,000 men. Safety isn't optional.
