Advocating the Community

We are very grateful to the City of Miami Government Miami Police Department for inviting us to participate in this important event, "Advocating the Community." Here, we join a network of allies working together to support vulnerable communities affected by domestic violence or any other form of victimization.

Our team of advocates is continuously trained to assist the community in the best possible way by offering available public or private resources. We are a safe space for everyone.

And remember, we assist all vulnerable people in the prevention of STIs through our health prevention program,

LA INFORMACIÓN DERRIBA EL ESTIGMA DEL VIH 🩸💊

Controla tu salud previniendo la transmisión del VIH. Comienza por hacerte la prueba cada tres meses o antes si tienes dudas. Una vez sepas el estatus inicia terapia antiretroviral si el test sale positivo o PrEP si es negativo. Lo importante es estar saludable. Indetectable = intransmisible.

LLEVAMOS NUESTRO PROGRAMA CLÍNICO A LA COMUNIDAD LATINA EN MIAMI DADE COUNTY 🇲🇽 🇬🇹

Esta semana hemos recorrido los Consulados de México y Guatemala en Miami promoviendo nuestro programa clínico para prevención del VIH.
Miami es el condado #1 en todo el país en nuevas infecciones de VIH.
Nuestro programa ofrece PrEP (medicamento que tomándolo a diario lo previene), para contener el crecimiento de esta epidemia y lo estamos llevando a toda la comunidad latina inmigrante que es una población con alta vulnerabilidad.

Inicia PrEP hoy con tu seguro médico y accede al programa de clínico de prevención. Siempre saludable, siempre en control!

SURVIVORS’ PATHWAY CLOTHING STORE PROJECT!

We are thrilled to embark on a new project, and this remarkable team of women has been a great ally to Survivors' Pathway, supporting volunteer efforts at our community events. Today, we come together to move forward with a project we have built with much love, of which you have been a part: our second-hand clothing store. We are working to expand the store, allowing for more donations and benefiting many more individuals who come to our organization seeking support.

We appreciate all the donations received and invite you to spread the word to give this project greater coverage in the state of Florida.

Happy Mother's Day 🤰🤱👩🧓👵❤️🌹

We are immensely proud to have so many mothers within our organization who, despite their challenges, are proactively seeking solutions to provide a better present and future for their children. You are the engine of the world, and we will continue working to assist any mother in situations of violence because violence at home is unacceptable.

In the last year, we have addressed 350 cases of domestic/family violence and 518 cases of other types of victimization through our domestic violence program. Our team of victim advocates works tirelessly to ensure that single mothers have access to both mental health and financial resources to assist them in emergencies and enable them to access a fresh start.

We are committed to working for all women in the state of Florida because you are the seed of life in our world. We are building a more inclusive, dignified space with strong values.

BINGO CON LAS DAMAS VOLUNTARIAS DE COLOMBIA!

El 7 de mayo de 2024, nuestro CEO Francesco Duberli en representación de Survivors’ Pathway acompañó a las Damas Voluntarias de Colombia es su evento de recaudación de fondos. Ellas han desempeñando una labor admirable para mejorar la calidad de vida de los niños en el país. Han trabajado arduamente recolectando alimentos, útiles escolares y vestuario, demostrando un compromiso invaluable con la comunidad y un espíritu solidario que inspira a todos a seguir su ejemplo.

Como CEO me siento muy inspirado y me llevo un gran reto para trabajar con todo mi equipo para favorecer a las comunidades vulnerables en el estado de Florida. Somos un Espacio seguro para todos!

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE & SEXUAL ASSAULT COUNCIL (DVSAC) 2024–2.

On Friday, April 26th, 2024, Francesco Duberli, CEO and President of the DVSAC, presided over a meeting attended by representatives from various Police Departments, Victims Advocates, and private organizations. We extend our appreciation to the Miami Gardens Police Department for graciously hosting this important gathering.

We express gratitude to all departments and divisions for their dedication to collaboration and advancing initiatives in the prevention of domestic violence and associated factors. Our shared goal is to champion women's rights and the well-being of individuals who migrate to Florida and encounter domestic violence and sexual assault.

Through our combined efforts, we are effecting positive change and fostering inclusivity. We eagerly anticipate reconvening for our next meeting.
