🚌🚏Early morning bus service is an essential part of Miami-Dade’s public transit system. We talked to riders on early morning buses who will be affected if this service is cut. Swipe to see what nurses, construction workers, custodians, students, and community members have to say about what their commute will look like.

Miami-Dade’s proposed budget for FY2026-27 cuts 11% of all bus service. This includes:
⚠️ 47 buses that will lose early morning service (before 5:59 AM)
⚠️ 41 buses losing late-night service (after 10:01 PM)
⚠️ 12 routes completely eliminated

We’re calling on the Mayor and County Commissioners to restore $12.4M to morning transit, the most essential service moving over 6,868 workers and families every week.

🚨 Stop the cuts. Save the first bus.

Miami-Dade’s proposed budget cuts 11% of all bus service. This includes route eliminations, morning buses cut before 6 AM, and late night buses cut after 10 PM.

☀️ Morning service is essential. Thousands of workers count on the first bus of the day to get to jobs, school, and appointments.

🗣️ Your voice can change this. Commissioners vote September 17. Swipe for every chance to speak up between now and then. Tell your commissioners and the Mayor why transit matters to you.

⚠️ Have you heard? The 2026-2027 Miami-Dade County budget proposal includes the elimination of 47 routes’ early morning hours (before 5:59 AM). 🚌 We’re calling on the Mayor and Commissioners to restore $12.4M for morning service on all 47 routes proposed for reduction.

Thousands of riders start their day before 6 AM. Nurses. Cooks. Cleaners. Construction workers. Without these trips, they have no way to get to work.

🔸We need your help informing riders about these service cuts AND educating them on how to take action.

We are hitting the streets at 5:00 AM to talk with the riders who depend on those trips. Join us at bus stops and onboard the affected routes!!
