The Miami Bayside Foundation is a nonprofit organization designed to advance economic development in Miami through the support of minority businesses and education. In order to empower minority students the foundation has created scholarship endowments that will award hundreds of students with financial aid for years to come in Miami Dade College, Florida Internation University (FIU), and Florida

Memorial University (FMU). Another initiative is to provide easier access to funds for minority entrepreneurs. The Foundation offers and administers a loan program that provides loans to minority businesses in the City of Miami. In addition to its loan program, the Miami Bayside Foundation provides valuable business tools and resources such as counseling and training in business development and management and other related services, through partnerships with local community organizations engaged in economic development.
