It has been two months since the double earthquake struck Venezuela. While the headlines may have moved on, recovery doesn’t happen overnight. 🇻🇪

In Refugio Los Campitos and across La Guaira, communities are still rebuilding, adapting, and finding ways forward. Children are a central part of that recovery, and they urgently need safe spaces where they can play, connect, feel supported, and simply be children again.

Together, we can do more. 🤝🇻🇪

Goleadoras Foundation and Fútbol con Corazón are joining forces to support children and communities affected by the June 24 earthquake in Venezuela.

⚽ Goleadoras will lead the overall direction and ex*****on of the initiative, bringing its experience using football as a tool for empowerment and transformation, with programs focused on girls.

⚽ Fútbol con Corazón will contribute its specialized methodology for boys, helping us extend the initiative across the community.

With the support of our strategic allies Venezuela Sin Límites and Unidos en Red, activities are planned to begin in September 2026.

But to make this possible, we need you.

We have launched an international GoFundMe campaign to raise the funds needed to bring safe spaces, trained facilitators, structured play, equipment, meals, and psychosocial support to the communities we serve.

Through football and structured play, Goleadoras Foundation and Fútbol con Corazón will work alongside local communities to help children reconnect, rebuild confidence, and recover a sense of belonging and hope.

Because rebuilding a community also means healing the people who will carry its future.

The earthquake lasted seconds. A child’s trauma doesn’t have to last a lifetime.

In Venezuela, families are beginning to rebuild after the earthquake. But beyond the visible damage, many children are still living with fear, anxiety, and the loss of the safety and stability they once knew.

That’s why Goleadoras Foundation and Fútbol con Corazón, together with our allies, are joining forces to create safe spaces where children can play, reconnect, rebuild confidence, and begin to heal.

Through football, structured play, psychosocial support, and trained local facilitators, we want to help children recover something every child deserves: the freedom to feel safe, play, dream, and believe in the future again.

We are raising $250,000 to make this possible.
