Attending the FBI National Academy Session 299, was an unforgettable journey of leadership, growth, wellness, friendship, and fellowship.

After 28 years in law enforcement, Lieutenant Robert Valdes is reminded that there is always more to learn, more room to grow, and more opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others.

The Academy left Lieutenant Valdes with lifelong friendships, valuable lessons, a renewed sense of purpose and most importantly, a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ ✝️.

He is truly grateful for this incredible opportunity and humbled to return home as a better father, leader, and public servant.

MEET OFC. ROWLEY & OFC. DAMIAN,

who recently completed the IPMBA E-Bike Training Course hosted by Miami Police Training Unit and are now actively patrolling the Brickell neighborhood.

E-bikes provide officers with an effective alternative mode of transportation in dense, high-traffic areas, allowing for quicker response times, greater mobility, and increased visibility throughout the community.

E-bike patrols also allow officers to navigate congested areas and access locations that may be difficult to reach by traditional patrol vehicles, while creating more opportunities for positive community engagement.

🚴‍♂️ THE FINAL RIDE — CAPTAIN DAN KERR #3627 💙

After years of dedicated service to the Miami Police Department, Captain Dan Kerr was escorted by members of the Miami Police BRT on his final ride.

The final ride consisted of 25 miles throughout our beautiful City of Miami, traveling through the neighborhoods and along the routes he often frequented during his tenure.

It was a fitting way to close one chapter and begin a well-earned new journey.

It is believed that he put more miles on his bicycle than he did in his patrol car.

From the badge to the bicycle, the legacy rides on. 🚴‍♂️💙

Thank you for your service, Captain Kerr. Enjoy the ride ahead! 🇺🇸👮‍♂️
