🎨 Is it time to formalize your creative practice?

Many creatives spend years perfecting their craft but little time considering the business structure that supports it. Join us for a practical Maximizing MAMP Session with Gabriel L. Valdes of Sidley Austin LLP as we explore when, and whether, it makes sense to incorporate, what factors to consider when choosing a legal structure, and how those decisions can support growth, funding opportunities, and long-term sustainability.

Whether you're an artist, creative entrepreneur, or cultural professional, this session will help you make more informed decisions about the future of your work.

Today's Maximizing MAMP session Improv to Improve Oral Communication, with Tyne Turner of Actors' Playhouse challenged participants to think on their feet, communicate with confidence, and embrace the unexpected.

The session was a powerful reminder that effective communication isn't about having all the answers, it's about being present, prepared, and ready to respond.

A huge thank you to Tyne Turner for bringing such energy, insight, and practical tools to our creative community, and to everyone who showed up ready to participate, take risks, and grow.

Next up in our Maximizing MAMP Series: Join us for a session with Gabriel L. Valdes of Sidley Austin LLP, where we'll explore one of the most important questions creative professionals face: When should you formalize your creative practice and should you at all?

Together, we'll discuss when and why creatives may choose to incorporate, what factors to consider before selecting a business structure, and how legal and operational decisions can support long-term sustainability, growth, and opportunity.

Whether you're an independent artist, creative entrepreneur, or cultural leader, this session will provide practical guidance for building a business structure that works for your goals.

What makes your voice unmistakably yours?

Today’s Maximizing MAMP session with Neysa King challenged us to think more deeply about the role of metacognition, reflection, and revision in the creative process. Together, we explored how revision is more than editing—it’s a practice that helps us strengthen our authentic voice, clarify our ideas, and communicate with greater intention.

As AI continues to reshape how we create and communicate, Neysa reminded us that our unique perspectives, experiences, and humanity remain our most valuable creative assets.

Thank you Neysa for leading such an engaging and thought-provoking workshop, and thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the conversation!

Interested in learning more about metacognition, revision as a practice, and Heart-Centered Writing? Visit neysaking.com to continue the journey.

‼️Next up in our Maximizing MAMP Series: Join us on June 22 from 10–11 a.m. for "Improv to Improve Oral Communication" with Tyne Turner of Actors' Playhouse where we will learn how improvisation techniques can help build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and enhance audience engagement.

Some of the most important conversations in the arts happen behind the scenes. Mitch Bierman brings them to the forefront.

We are pleased to announce Mitch Bierman as the keynote speaker for the 2026 MAMP Conference.

Mitch brings a uniquely informed perspective on the evolving relationship between creativity, business, law, and cultural infrastructure and what artists and arts leaders need to navigate today’s rapidly changing landscape.

Your creative practice already holds value.
Not someday. Not once it’s validated by an institution, brand, or gatekeeper. Now.

Artists are builders of culture, drivers of local economies, and the force behind the energy, identity, and evolution of cities. The question is no longer whether creatives should think like entrepreneurs — it’s how to build systems, opportunities, and sustainable careers around the value you already create.

Scaling Creative Growth is a conversation about ownership, positioning, sustainability, and what it takes to grow a creative practice with intention.

🎟️ Step into the next phase of your creative career. Tickets in bio.
