It was so painful seeing Harlow, 4 years old, being laid to rest. She was so adorable. I could not stop crying. But I know that she is in heaven.

My speech today for Harlow is below:
Hello, my name is Terri Pajares, President of Epilepsy Awareness of America. I was asked to speak today and I feel so honored to speak about Harlow. I have known Harlow and Brooke for about 3 years. I remember Brooke introducing herself and Harlow at our annual Epilepsy Awareness walk. Harlow was in her stroller with a cute headband on. Harlow was smiling and looking around at everything. As I got to know Harlow and Brooke more, Harlow was always smiling. I visited Harlow in the hospital a few times because Brooke would reach out to me and I knew she needed me. Epilepsy is not easy to deal with. I truly want to help because I understand how epilepsy affects the whole family. What I want everyone to know and remember is that Harlow was a fighter, strong, beautiful, and courageous little girl. Harlow has touched my heart in so many ways. I believe that God meant for me to meet Harlow and Brooke. They have deepened my passion for helping others with epilepsy. In the bible, Matthew 19:14, Jesus says, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven. I believe it was Harlow's time to go to heaven. I will always remember Harlow in a special way. I want to truly give my thanks to Brooke and her family for showing me their love and asking me to speak today. Thank you.
