Share this post to help register new voters! Young people who register and vote while still in high school are significantly more likely to participate consistently throughout their lives. Kansas law allows individuals to register to vote if they are 17 years old and will be 18 before the next election. This makes high school-based registration one of the most powerful opportunities to establish lifelong civic participation.

We’re inviting high school students, teachers and advisors to our Sept 2 virtual workshop to learn how to hold a voter registration drive in your school! See link in post or bio to register.

Don’t break the FWD chain, share this post! If you were around for the early days of the internet, you probably remember chain emails flooding your inbox. They usually had 5 font sizes, 4 colors, 3 lines in ALL CAPS, 2 urban legends and 1 superstition designed to make sure you would forward it to friends. Let’s bring a little of that energy back! We’re hosting a virtual workshop to teach high school students how to run a voter registration drive at their school and we need your help spreading the word.
