After an intense 18 month process, House of Hope KC celebrates their recent award of national accreditation through the Council on Accreditation (COA)! A big thanks to COA for walking HOHKC Staff and Board members through this process. Our prayer is that this accreditation will provide greater national exposure to the healing and restoration of families available through our residential program.

Pray for HOHKC’s summer programming and new students. June and July are busy months for new move-in’s in HOHKC’s residential program. Pray that God will bring the perfect number of new students so as to bring good, new energy, but not too many that our staff is overwhelmed. Pray that God will continue to stretch the reach of HOHKC to other parts of the country. Pray that the summer programming logistics and plans will get finalized so that the students can have a positive experience of recapturing their dreams this summer. Pray that God would keep our students safe from accidents. Pray that new volunteers will jump into the life-changing work going on at HOHKC this summer and beyond. Pray that our students would use the more relaxed time of the summer to give concentrated focus on their healing and counseling.

There are several open positions at House of Hope as we move into the summer months.

Pray specifically that God will provide 2 female staff for the Girls’ House, 2 male staff for the Boys’ house, and an academic support staff position for August.

Pray that God would lead these individuals to find out about HOH and that these staff members will be a great fit for their season of life and sense of calling in working with teenagers.

Pray that these new staff members will bring spiritual maturity and a fresh energy in working with our current HOH teens.

Pray for our current staff’s endurance as they work extra hours to fill in the gap. Our staff is what makes House of Hope a great organization.

Thank you for your prayer support and your dedication to HOH.
