The Kansas City Blazers Swim Team The Kansas City Blazers swim team was established in 1975 as a department of Johnson County Parks and Recreation District(JCPRD).

Through our COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE, we are a USA Swimming Level IV club, the premier team in the region for 50 years. The KC Blazers Parent Organization, the Santa Fe Trailblazers Association, is the "support force" for the KC Blazer Swim Team. The parents assist in the direction and management of the Blazer Swim Team affairs. For every swimmer in the water there is a parent on the side providin

g support through participation in many KC Blazer functions, including Blazer hosted meets, fund raising projects, and social and fun events. Time spent training helps in organization of life in general. Free time is valued; therefore, you learn to use time more constructively in all activities. Discipline is another valuable lesson; to be a good swimmer one must have self-discipline. Swimming is a fun way of accomplishing all of these and many more objectives. We invite you to try our program as a means of meeting this goal.

Every championship cut represents countless early mornings, long practices, challenging sets, sore muscles, and unwavering determination. These swimmers have put in the work all season long, and now it's time to see it pay off.

This weekend, our Blazers are headed to Topeka to compete in the 2026 Missouri Valley Long Course District Championships, and we couldn't be more proud of everything they've accomplished to get here.

Congratulations to our Kansas City Blazers Sectional qualifiers as they head to Summer Sectionals in Columbia this week! Your dedication, early mornings, countless laps, and hard work have earned you a spot on one of the biggest stages of the summer.

The next championship meet is on the starting block, and we can't wait to watch you race, compete, and represent the Blazers with pride.
