New Jersey PTA Leadership Convention 2026

On August 1–2, local PTA leaders from across New Jersey gathered at The Heldrich in New Brunswick for a weekend filled with learning, connection, celebration, and inspiration.

We were honored to welcome Dr. Lily Laux, Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Education, as our keynote speaker, bringing an important perspective on the future of education and the role PTA leaders play in supporting students, families, and schools.

From engaging workshops and leadership training to our vendor hall, there were countless opportunities to learn new ideas, connect with community partners, and bring valuable resources back to our local PTAs. We also loved seeing students take center stage through the Student Track, giving young leaders their own opportunity to learn, connect, and grow.

And, of course, we celebrated the incredible work happening throughout our state during the Awards Breakfast, recognizing the dedicated volunteers, students, educators, and PTAs who continue to make a difference in their communities.
The convention was a wonderful reminder that while we may serve different schools and communities, we are stronger when we come together as New Jersey PTA.

Here’s to a new year of learning, leading, advocating, and making a difference for every child!

This year, students in Pre-K through Grade 12 are invited to share their creativity and express themselves through:

Student artwork will be celebrated at the local, county/region, state, and potentially national levels.
