The Association of Environmental Authorities of NJ is a 50-year-old association of public water, wastewater, solid waste and recycling service providers in New Jersey, primarily utilities authorities, and also including municipal utilities departments and business that support the public utility sector. The focus of AEA is utility management, long-range planning, leadership and public policy. We are hometown providers of utility service.

As the NJ Legislature finalizes the state budget, AEA has joined a coalition of environmental, labor, & business groups supporting Sen. Linda Greenstein's Budget Resolution No. 167, which would restore $60 million in Water Bank funding that had been cut.

New Jersey needs to maintain its water /wastewater infrastructure to protect the environment and human heal and to support a healthy economy.
