ROTARIANS AT WORK! Check out this fine-looking group of Rotarians from the Menomonie Sunrise Rotary Club and the ROTARY CLUB OF MENOMONIE! The clubs gave a grant to the Bridge to Hope for new swing set equipment and helped set it up last week.

The Menomonie Sunrise Rotary Club welcomed the committee members from the Menomonie Sunrise Rotary Charitable Foundation as our speakers this morning. They gave us an overview on how the Foundation (formally known as the Larry Jess Foundation) works with our Club. Thank you Mark, Bryan, Dana, Jeremy and Larry!

The Menomonie Sunrise Rotary club welcomed their very own John Wilkerson as the speaker this week.

John is a publishing editor and digital communication strategists for organizations. He focuses on the written word and how nonprofits and companies see themselves and are seen by those on the outside. He has spoken and taught writing at numerous writing conferences as well as judged short and long fiction.

He spoke on the practices and considerations for how to write a book. His topics included motivation, technique, and the 'help,' this is driving me crazy moments.

The Menomonie Sunrise Rotary Club had a HUGE morning yesterday! Gus gave the club an overview of how the Paul Harris Award is achieved. We then presented 4 club members with Paul Harris Awards! We also presented a Paul Harris award to Casey Swenby for his dedication and hard work with Rotary Feeds, which has provided almost 2 million meals!
Congrats Bryan, Mike, Margaret, Kevin and Casey!
