❤️🐴 She chose Sporty.

This photo was taken during Sera’s third session at Hoof Beat Therapeutic Healing Center.

But the real story began during her second visit.

That’s when she met Too Sporty For You—better known as “Sporty.”

From that moment on, she fell in love with him.

Anyone who spends time around horses knows that sometimes a special connection forms instantly. Out of all the horses she could have chosen, Sporty became her horse.

For Sporty, his racing days may be over, but he has found a meaningful second career helping people build confidence, trust, and self-esteem.

Watching these relationships develop is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

We're so excited to invite you to our 2026 Nonprofit Impact Tour, a FREE, behind-the-scenes look at the real change happening right here in Dunn County!

This year, we're visiting three incredible organizations:
🐴 Hoof Beat Therapeutic Healing Center — Where retired racehorses help people heal
🌿 Arbor Place — Compassionate care for those on the journey to recovery
🦋 Wisconsin Milkweed Alliance - WIMA — Peer support that meets people exactly where they are
