Grief doesn’t have a timeline, and it doesn’t look the same for everyone. It can come from the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a home, a sense of safety, or the life we once imagined.

Today, we’re reminding everyone that it’s okay to grieve, it’s okay to ask for support, and healing doesn’t mean forgetting.

💜 Women's Equality Day 💜

Today, we recognize Women's Equality Day, a time to celebrate the progress that has been made while acknowledging the work that still lies ahead.

At The Bridge to Hope, we believe everyone deserves to live free from violence, fear, and abuse. Equality means more than equal rights—it means access to safety, support, justice, and the opportunity to heal.

Today, we honor the strength and resilience of survivors and reaffirm our commitment to creating a community where every person is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Together, we can build a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Today is National Self-First Day — a reminder that putting yourself first isn’t selfish. It’s about recognizing your needs, setting healthy boundaries, and making space for the things that help you be your best.

So, what does putting yourself first look like for you?

✨ Saying “no” without guilt
✨ Taking a break when you need one
✨ Making time for what matters to you
✨ Setting boundaries
✨ Choosing yourself and your well-being

What do YOU do to put yourself first?

Today is National Nonprofit Day!

We are honored to stand alongside survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and elder abuse. Every crisis call answered, every safe night of shelter provided, every advocacy appointment, and every moment of support is made possible because of our compassionate staff, dedicated volunteers, generous donors, community partners, and supporters like you.

Ending violence is not something we can do alone; it takes an entire community committed to creating safety, hope, and healing.

Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us provide life changing services to individuals and families throughout Dunn and Pepin Counties. Together, we are building a future where everyone can live free from violence.

The Bridge to Hope stands in support of Wisconsin’s decision not to move forward with SB 120 / AB 103, legislation that would have restricted how schools could recognize a young person’s chosen name and pronouns.

As an organization dedicated to preventing domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking, we know that healthy relationships begin with respect, safety, autonomy, and belonging.

When young people feel isolated, rejected, or unable to be their authentic selves, their vulnerability can increase. Supporting youth means creating environments where every young person feels respected, valued, and safe.

At The Bridge to Hope, we believe every young person deserves to feel safe, heard, and supported — without exception. 💜

The Bridge to Hope is currently accepting donations of:

📚 New School Supplies – backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, folders, and other back-to-school essentials.

👕Adult-Sized Plastic Hangers – our clothing closet is running low, and hangers help us keep donated clothing organized for the survivors we serve.

Donations can be dropped off during our regular business hours.

Thank you for helping us provide hope, dignity, and support to individuals and families in our community. Every donation makes a difference! 💜
