Tomorrow will be our last Healing from Trauma Support Group at the Menomonie Public Library. Join us from 1-2pm - everyone is welcome!

After tomorrow, we will be on pause for support group until January 2027. In January, we will start support group at The Bridge to Hope every 3rd Thursday from 4-5 pm!

The term "perfect victim" in the context of domestic violence refers to what society perceives as someone who fits the specific mold of being passive, innocent, and without any faults or complicated factors. This concept of a “perfect victim” creates significant barriers for actual victims who don’t fit within this limiting stereotype, thus making it harder for them to be believed or supported.

In reality, domestic violence can affect anyone regardless of background, personality, or behavior. Victims live complex lives and their circumstances can vary widely. It’s crucial to recognize that every survivor deserves support and understanding regardless of how they may or may not fit society’s expectations.

Thank you for joining us throughout the month of October to spread awareness about Domestic Violence.
