Tomorrow is the big day!!! Are your children, grandchildren, foster, kinship, whoever you chose to buy tickets for the lucky winners or one of these beautiful playhouses designed and built by JMG Builders ? Didn't buy a ticket yet? No worries there is still time. Dont have kids? No worries you can still support this, some people have bought tickets to donate the houses if rhey win. Isnt that incredible?!! You have until 12:30 tomorrow!!! Drawing is at 1pm hosted at the Chippewa Valley Habitat for Humanity where they will have free culvers custard at noon. Playhouses will be delivered and set up by 715 Excavating for free within a 45 mile radius of EauClaire. These houses are not you cheap kits you buy in the store they are quality mini houses by an actual home builder. Every penny goes to the Wisconsin Foster Closet and helps the amazing children in our communities. Drawing will also be live on facebook. Will you help us get to our goal of 400 tickets.

Only 3 days till our big drawing!!! Feel free to join us, JMG Builders, Chippewa Valley Habitat for Humanity, and 715 Excavating Saturday June 13th at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in EauClaire for the drawing at 1 and have some culvers custard or watch us on Facebook live. Do not need to be present to win. Still time to buy your tickets. Don't have kids? Still want to help? We have a few people that have bought tickets and wish to donate the houses to a family if they win. How amazing is that?!! Help us reach our goal of 400 tickets!!! Behind the Scenes at the Wisconsin Foster Closet ❤️
Most people see the organized racks, the smiling volunteers, and the bags ready for children. What they don't see is everything happening behind the scenes.
They don't see the mountains of donations that need to be sorted, washed, folded, sized, and put away. They don't see volunteers spending hours matching outfits, filling hygiene kits, packing welcome bags, organizing school supplies, answering messages, coordinating with social workers, or searching for that one special item a child desperately needs.
They don't see the tears when a child arrives with nothing but the clothes on their back. They don't see the relief on a foster parent's face when they realize they won't have to choose between paying bills and meeting a child's immediate needs.
Behind every rack of clothing is a donor. Behind every welcome bag is a volunteer. Behind every pair of shoes is a child who deserves dignity. Behind every success story is an entire community.
The Wisconsin Foster Closet was founded in 2013 to help children entering foster and kinship care receive essential items during one of the most difficult times in their lives. Today, it remains 100% volunteer-run and donation-supported, serving children across Wisconsin. �

The Wisconsin Foster Closet, Inc. is raffling off two beautifully crafted playhouses to support children in foster and kinship care. The Wisconsin Foster Closet provides clothing, personal care items, school supplies, and essential support to children across western Wisconsin, including the Chippewa Valley.

Every ticket purchased directly helps provide comfort, dignity, and critical necessities to kids entering foster or kinship placements.

Playhouse delivery is available within 45 miles of Eau Claire.

The drawing will be held on June 13 at 1 PM. Tickets can be purchased until June 13 at 12:30 pm.

Now that we are finally caught up from the Here We Grow Again Sale and have everything sorted, organized, and put away, many people have been asking what our biggest needs are.
First, thank you to everyone who has donated, volunteered, shopped, shared our posts, and supported the Wisconsin Foster Closet. Because of your generosity, we are currently well-stocked in many areas.
That being said, there are always items that move quickly and are greatly needed for the children we serve. Below in the comments is our current list of priority needs:
Every donation, no matter the size, helps ensure that children entering foster and kinship care feel seen, valued, and loved during what is often one of the most difficult times in their lives.

I wish you could see the faces of everyone who walks through these doors.

The social workers who have just made the heartbreaking decision to remove children for their safety. The families who open their homes to large sibling groups arriving with little or nothing. The children facing fear, uncertainty, and a future they cannot yet understand. The volunteers eager to make a difference. The donors and sponsors bringing hope through their generosity. And the team carrying the weight of it all each day.
Every face tells a story, and somehow all of those stories connect.
Here at the Wisconsin Foster Closet, we experience a mixture of emotions daily—sadness, hurt, anger, fear, joy, hope, and relief. We celebrate victories, comfort through heartbreak, and stand together during life's hardest moments.
This is truly a team effort. Every volunteer, donor, sponsor, foster parent, social worker, and community member plays a part in ensuring that children in foster and kinship care feel seen, valued, and loved.
Together, we are building more than a closet—we are building hope.
