The Wisconsin Lions Foundation Diabetes Awareness Project is proud to announce the School Technology Grant, with applications being accepted between April 1st and June 15th.

Schools in Wisconsin are encouraged to apply for this grant, which is designed to help Wisconsin schools acquire the technology necessary to monitor continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) for students living with diabetes. This grant supports improved safety and school readiness to respond to diabetes-related health needs.

Parents/Families/MD27 Lions of Wisconsin Club Members, please encourage your schools to apply, as the applicant must be a representative of the school or school district requesting the assistance. Up to 20 schools will be awarded funding of up to $1,000 to purchase technology to monitor students with diabetes who use a CGM.

Last night we gave our $1000 car on the ice winner his check. Congratulations to Steve Sands.

We also presented the pink ball to Loren Sandberg for getting the most points below his average in a single game at lions state bowling. He now gets to hold on to it for a year!

And we had a jokester in the crowd for April Folls day. Micky Lecheler Rugland made us sponge brownies!! It was pretty funny watching people try to bite into them 😂

Congratulations to our car on the ice winners!
