๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ June 12 โ€” Women Veterans Day
Today we honor the women who have worn the uniform and continue to serve our nation in countless ways โ€” in leadership, mentorship, and community.

Their courage didnโ€™t end when the mission did. It lives on in every act of service, every voice that lifts others up, and every hand extended to help a fellow veteran find connection and purpose.

At H.O.O.A.H. WI, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and continued impact of women veterans who remind us daily that service never stops โ€” it simply evolves.

๐Ÿ’ช Honor. Thank. Empower.

We support & THANK the women who have & continue to serve our great nation.

This past weekend, we had the privilege of hosting 20 veterans and 2 event supporters at the Carney Roundup Rodeo. They were welcomed into the VIP section, where they enjoyed complimentary food, snacks, drinks, and a shaded area to relax throughout the event.

We watched both amateur and professional competitors showcase their talents in barrel racing, trick riding, roping, and bull riding. The rodeo also featured several exciting youth events, including mini bull riding, mutton busting, and stick pony races.

We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding hospitality shown by the rodeo organizers. Their generosity and support helped make the weekend a memorable experience for all of our veterans. Thank you to everyone who made this special event possible.

On Memorial Day, we remember the fallen and their ultimate sacrifice they made for all of us.

Don't thank a Veteran today, that's saved for Veteran's Day.

Today we remember and honor, with extreme gratitude and respect. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒโค๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒโค๏ธ

Despite stubborn spring weatherโ€”overcast skies to start, rain started around the 5th hole in, and strengthening rain and winds to finish - our spring golf tournament was a memorable day of camaraderie and perseverance. A total of 118 golfers, including 74 veterans, teed off and many veterans battled the elements to complete all 18 holes; others shortened their rounds but still re-
turned to the clubhouse with smiles and good spirits. It was heartening to see veterans talking together before and after their rounds- thank you for your service to our country. Riverside Country Club outdid themselves with an excellent tournament meal that energized players and volunteers alike. On the scoreboard, congratulations to Tyler Cahill and Tim Chamberlain for posting the lowest Gross score (tied with Joe Quinn and Ken Milan), with Tyler and Tim taking the edge on combined Net score. Special congratulations to Gerald Brix and Mike Hebert for winning the Lowest Net using the Peoria system. Thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, and supported the event -we look forward to seeing you at the fall tournament at Little River Country Club.
