Huge amounts of gratitude to Mike & Jamie Glish, whose generous new fund for K-12 music education will enrich the lives of local students for years to come! Thank you sincerely, for your selfless gift to the community! 🎶💛

Every kid deserves the chance to pick up an instrument and discover what they're capable of. 🎵

We're honored to announce the Mike and Jamie Glish K–12 Music Opportunity Fund — a new Field of Interest Fund at the M&M Area Community Foundation dedicated to supporting music education across Marinette and Menominee Counties.

For donor Mike Glish, this fund is deeply personal — rooted in the impact music had on his own life and created in memory of his wife, Jamie, an artist who believed wholeheartedly in the power of music to shape a young person's future.

This is the Glish family's third fund at the Foundation supporting students in music. Read more about the story behind the gift 👇

Whoa, did we get some snow this week or what? You know where there isn't any snow...down South Pacific! 🌴

In 2004, MHS and the Menominee community came together to put on South Pacific - a musical by Rodgers and Hammerstein about an American nurse stationed on a South Pacific island during WWII. 🏝️

Welcome to this week's ✨way-back Wednesday!✨

In 2014, MHS and the community put on Peter Pan. This was a big undertaking as we utilized a fly system to create the special effects you see with many of the different characters. It was a big hit and as always, a group effort! 🧚

See anyone you recognize? Share your memories in the comments below. ⬇️

P.S. - we're so close to completing our goal for replacing the curtains. We're hopeful that we can raise enough money to get them replaced by the time the musical premieres this year! Let's reach the goal and make the stage shine. 🤩

The finish line is finally in sight! 🏁 We are in the final push to replace Blesch Auditorium’s aging curtains. After years of wear and tear, we are ready to give our community gathering space the fresh, professional look it deserves - but we cannot do it without YOU!

Happy ✨flashback Friday✨ from Stagemagic. Fifteen years ago this year, MHS put on the beloved musical Annie.

We had a large cast and crew - including kids and a real dog! It was a community effort to put on this show, and we had a ton of fun doing it. ❤️

See anyone you recognize in the photos? Share any fun memories with us in the comments below. ⬇️

P.S. - we're so close to getting new curtains for the stage! Let's cross the finish line and get those new curtains in before this year's musical. 🎭

Happy Giving Tuesday! 🎁

Stagemagic relies completely on the work of volunteers, community giving, and awareness for local arts.

We're a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and we're committed to preserving and restoring Blesch Auditorium.

We've surpassed the halfway mark for our Raise the Curtain campaign! This Giving Tuesday, we hope to raise more awareness for our cause and put us closer to our goals.

Thank you for joining us on the journey so far. Here's to more projects completed in the coming months! 🥳

🌱15 years ago, MHS put on Little Shop of Horrors. We pulled out all the stops for this one, including a huge plant-puppet that a person could crawl into...and never return!!!

Just kidding. Everyone was fine. 😊

But we did have a ton of fun on this set - building it, putting together all the tiny details, and watching the incredible talent both onstage and backstage. ✨

See any faces you recognize? Tag them and reminisce! We love reading your stories and memories. 💚

Lots of hard work went into paving this yellow brick road back in 2012. Over 65 cast members, dozens of stage crew, and countless volunteers, parents, and community members came together with MHS and Jon Nutter to put on The Wizard of Oz. 💚

Here are just a few glimpses into the process. So many good memories. See anyone you recognize? 🪄

We're eager to add to our board. If you're interesting in joining a team of people passionate about community and preservation, send us a message about how to apply. 📲

The hills are alive...with the sound of a flashback Fridaaaay. 🎵

In March of 1999, MHS put on The Sound of Music. Featured among these photos today is a great article about the production that highlights the effort that goes into each show. Onstage and backstage passion work together to create the live theatre that transforms us. 🎭

Even if we're just able to escape to a show for a few hours a couple of times a year, the benefits are monumental. We need to keep these community events alive in our area so that we can continue to come together to learn, play, and simply have fun. 🎉

Special flashback-Friday shoutout to our Stagemagic president Jeanette, who played Marta Von Trapp. 😊

"When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I'm feeling sad...I simply remember my favorite things, and then I don't feel so bad." ✨

🔔P.S. - We're still accepting applications for board members. Message us if you're interested!
