The first two weeks of summer are off to an exciting start at BGCP! ☀️🎓

More than 200 students from across North and South County attended our Future Grads Summer Academy at Skyline College and Cañada College. Designed for rising high school sophomores interested in pursuing higher education, the academy helps students explore the value of college and the steps it takes to get there.

This weekend, we celebrated 70 of our graduating students in South County Future Launch! 🎓

Students took the stage to share their next steps, proudly announcing plans that include attending University of California, Berkeley, University of Southern California, San Jose State University, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

📊✨ Our 2nd graders became data experts for the day!

With the help of Daphne Draws Data, students learned how to graph their favorite parts of BGCP and how they like to learn using pie charts and bar graphs. They explored how data can tell a story—and how to map their ideas visually.

Best part? Every student went home with a free book 📚💛

Learning + creativity + joy = a great day at BGCP!
