Our first ever combined College Bound Orientation and College Success Transition Week was an amazing experience! FCE’s Summer at Stanford, hosted by the Haas Center For Public Service, was filled Our first ever combined College Bound Orientation and College Success Transition Week was an amazing experience! FCE’s Summer at Stanford, hosted by the Haas Center For Public Service, was filled with opportunities for students to learn, connect, and prepare for the school year ahead. College Bound students explored topics ranging from A-G requirements and the power of research to financial literacy and why it “pays to do well” in school. College Success students prepared for what’s ahead through workshops on academic success, financial aid and budgeting, healthy relationships, networking and belonging, and campus involvement. Students ended the week with a fun retreat at Topgolf, where they built community and strengthened connections with one another. From tips and tricks for senior year success to first-year “to-dos” and college “must-knows,” we are so proud of FCE students for an incredible summer filled with fun, learning, and preparation for the year ahead! Thanks once again to Paitra Houts and the rest of the Haas Center team for their continued support of FCE and our students!
