Our 6th Grade Girls race is going to be exciting on Thursday at the King's Academy Invitational at Sunnyvale Baylands. I expect our first four runners to be very much up front and can Zara (in photo) who is a very experienced racer (went to the JO Qualifier last year and had a great race) get across that finish line in time to secure the win?! This is an example of why Cross-Country is so great and such a team sport - We are counting on our #5 runner to win the race for us!!

Thanks to the cooler fall weather this year, Run Club runners are training up faster hitting 35 minutes straight of intervals training earlier than any other season! We have our first race next Thursday: The King’s Academy Invitational at the Sunnyvale Baylands Park!

Sadie & Rilka (10th grade - twins) ran for years for Run Club where we practice “kicking” at the end of nearly every practice and they kick in hard at every high school race now too! These twins finished this race with the exact same time:20:50.39 tied for 23rd. They led the Frosh/Soph Menlo-Atherton team last week too! Way to go, girls - we miss you at Run Club practices!
