Memphis,TN: these two gorgeous female poodles are seeking a new home. The apricot is Chanel and she is about 8 months old and weighs 16 lbs. the black and white is Savannah, she is two years old and weighs 28 lbs. their owner called them “small standards.” These dogs are spayed and up to date on vaccines. Please do not post negative comments. The owner has too many dogs and not enough time for all. These dogs LOVE her dearly and will be skittish in a new home and flight risks.
They have lived with a ten year old child and two other dogs.

Memphis, TN: urgent situation! Foster or adopter for these two dogs is needed by 930 Tuesday morning! Owner must leave town for three months and these dogs will be out on the street. They are chiweenies. The tan one is Pancho, 7 years old and about 20 lbs. black one is Chico, 6 years old and about 15 lbs. I’m told both are housetrained and get along with other dogs. Memphis,TN: Puppy Alert! Trina was pulled from the euthanasia list at Memphis Animal Shelter. She is now about 4 months old, is spayed and on heartworm preventative. Trina is a sweet dog who is kennel trained and seems to be housetrained. She is a little timid with some of my other foster dogs but she loves ball and human attention. She currently weighs 20 lbs and is learning to walk on leash.

Memphis,TN: New dog alert! Ruthie is an 11 mo. old female standard poodle. She weighs 40 lbs. She does like to play and another dog her size and play level would be a plus. Great news! Traveler is SAFE at home with RGDR!

UPDATE: Real Good Dog Rescue said Traveler was captured Saturday morning in the Walnut Grove Lakes subdivision. He is in good shape and getting some rest after being on the run for nearly a week.

Update: the owner reports she has placed this dog on her own
Memphis,TN: Chase is a 7 y.o. 15 ish pound male terrier mix who needs a new home. He does not like big dogs and he lives with two of them. The owner is afraid he will be hurt. He is not neutered and needs to be brought up to date on vetting. He did not like cats. The owner prefers to deal with a potential adopter herself. A stray dog spotted for weeks along the Riverfront and Mud Island and captured at Overton Park after a snowstorm is on the run again.

4/4/26:EUREKA, TRAVELER HAS BEEN REUNITED WITH ME!
Many thanks to Craig, Pam, Sally, Lucia and many residents of the Walnut Grove Lakes community who kept vigil, walked trails, and kept me alerted daily. Thank you to Melissa Moon and WREG for helping us to network Traveler. Thank you to the volunteers who put up posters: Amy, Shelley, Kent and Merial. He is resting, unharmed and not letting me out of his sight. Many prayers have been answered!
4/3/26: traveler was back in the original neighborhood he escaped from yesterday! Thankfully there are many posters up there and Im getting calls. Unfortunately he is covering too large an area to figure out where to put a trap. We have a trail camera available but probably need a couple more!
4/2/26 People who were at the plant place by the red barn in agricenter saw Traveller on Tuesday and he crossed Germantown Parkway into the walnut bend area
3-31-26 Traveller was spotted at 7 this morning running on walnut grove rd between the agricenter and farm rd on the south side(toward baptist east.) He could have turned left and be on agricenter land or he could end up along the wolf river bottoms or make his way to wolf river blvd. Please let's all say a collective prayer that he will survive and allow someone to catch him. Call 901 -652-9781 if sighted dragging his leash!!!!!
Update #2: I think we got some bad intel yesterday. He is staying in a pretty tight area near Ericson and Leif cove. I ask that if you see this dog, do not chase or alarm. If you are walking a dog he may follow you, and possibly you can move into a fenced area with him following. If we can keep him in that area I have a better chance of coming when he is seen; he should recognize me. He has lived with me the last two months. Please call 901-652-9781 with location and exact time seen there.

Update: Jack has been on a trial in a potential new home since last Sunday. So far so good
Memphis,TN. Jack is a small short legged Jack Russell mix who has been in foster care since last year. He is a lively dog who loves to play with other dogs his size and play level.
