Join us for dance and movement sessions led by Image Builders Memphis and Dr. Carmilla Wheeler through the MSCS Mental Health Center, sponsored by Project AWARE!

These sessions are open to MSCS teachers, staff, and parents and will include line dance, West African dance, hip-hop, lyrical dance, ballet, and dance movement therapy.

Come move, connect, reset, and have fun with us! 💃🏽✨

As we observe Mental Health Awareness Month, I find myself reflecting on moments like this.

What makes this picture so powerful is that many of us were strangers when we arrived. Yet somehow, every smile became genuine, every laugh became effortless, and every connection felt real. There was no pretending—just authenticity, joy, and peace.

To anyone who has not found their tribe yet, or who feels surrounded by people but still cannot smile from the depths of their soul, I want you to know this: your people are out there.

Sometimes healing does not happen in familiar places. Sometimes God leads us into new spaces, among new faces, and in those unexpected moments, we discover the comfort, love, and belonging we have been longing for.

The kind of peace that surpasses all understanding comes from God alone. But in His grace, He allows us to experience little glimpses of heaven on earth through genuine connection, laughter, and the freedom to simply be ourselves.

Keep trusting Him. Keep stepping forward. Your tribe, your healing, and your peace may be waiting in a place you never expected. 💜✨

Yes, we offer dance movement therapy, art therapy, and music therapy… but don’t get it twisted—we also have a dynamic Performing Arts Department that SHOWS UP and SHOWS OUT 🔥

Our dance team travels out of town ✈️ to perform in parades, compete in competitions, and represent our city in major community events 💃🏽🏆
And let’s not forget our amazing Pom and Cheer teams 📣 who bring energy, precision, and spirit to every stage and every event they touch!
