Reminder that our annual branch picnic is right around the corner! We hope to see everyone there!

The next Branch 2689 membership meeting will be held at 7:30 PM on Wednesday June 10 at our branch hall.

President Scott Stanley attended the Collective Bargaining Meeting held in Washington DC this week and he will be updating the branch on the details discussed.

All members are encouraged to attend. Food and refreshments will be provided.

📆 This Saturday, National Association of Letter Carriers members nationwide will be collecting nonperishable food donations right from your doorstep. Leave a bag out for your carrier and help make a difference in your community!

NALC Branch 2689 President Scott Stanley recently presented retired Melbourne Letter Carrier Dale Howe with a 65 year NALC membership pin.

After serving in the US Army, Dale started his Postal career in 1960 as a letter carrier in Eau Gallie, FL, quickly joining Eau Gallie Branch 4821. After the cities of Eau Gallie and Melbourne consolidated, Dale became a member of Melbourne Branch 2689 when Branch 4821 merged into us.

Dale is an old Eau Gallie legend, known for his customer service and special deliveries. He is still a regular fixture at Marker 99, where several Past Branch 2689 Presidents and other friends joined Scott and Dale to celebrate.
