Monday morning motivation for our students as they walked to their first full week of school. We had donut holes, yoohoo and water to fuel the walk and a little Jesus to get them through the week.

If you love an adventure, desire to learn all the new slang, and are patient with teenage angst- we need you!

We are back to school and the cafe is buzzing with students again. We LOVE it!!!

This year our community once again showed up for the students in donations of school supplies, money for backpacks, free haircuts and serving them and their families. Thank you!

Special thanks to our friends at studiomdhairstyling for the fresh haircuts, our btrhaus friends at The Village of Hinckley Oaks for gathering supplies, Let's Make a Difference and Michelle for the collaboration and help, our Board and volunteers for grabbing those last minute items, our friends at Emerge- Hope Recovery Community Youth Services for those expandable file folders, United Way of Medina County, Julie and our Project: LEARN of Medina County for the extra love, and our community for continuing to show up! We are so grateful!

Thankful for our friends at Hope Recovery Community and believe in the important work they do every day.

Overthe years we have met so many wonderful people working on their recovery, serving their community and finding hope in their lives.

Overdose is preventable! End the stigma, speak up and get help.

This week’s needs list! Thank you so much for all the wonderful donations over the last week. So many of you have shared your extra produce, leftovers from events, and bought the things off our list. It really makes a difference.

Today we get our afterschool crew back! Hours are back to 10a-4p; with adults served in the cafe 10-1p and after that students. To-go meals are available for adult walk-ins after 1pm in the community fridge.
