Cups Collective Cups Cafe is now Cups Collective. More than a cafe. Everyone is welcome! Cups is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization

We are a connecting place where guests can expect to find comfort, coffee, conversation and so much more! Every day, after 2pm, we become a students only zone. We reserve our afternoons for those who are in middle and high school. During the school year, we invite our elementary school students to pop by after school for a quick bite to eat.

Thankful for our Gathering Table sponsors: The Giving Place, Bert & Maureen Wickey, matched by Johnson & Johnson, Sandridge Crafted Foods, and Medina UCC. All of these sponsors have been a part of Cups for years and we are thankful for their continued support.

The Giving Place Medina is a great supporter of our mission through generous financial support, food donations and even clothing items for our guests. We love that they not only support our mission, but the work of so many nonprofits I Medina County.

Bert & Maureen are great supporters of Cups: working to share our story with friends and family, working to get employer match to double their sponsorship, and serving in the cafe. We are grateful for their continued support!

Sandridge Crafted Foods is one of our longtime supporters. Not only do they sponsor events, every week they donate essential food items to ensure we have enough to feed the 100+ guests we feed every day. The impact of their generosity spans over thousands of hot meals - we are so grateful.

Medina United Church of Christ, Congregational is a great neighbor to us in the truest definition. Monthly, their church members prepare and deliver a hot meal to share with our guests, their missions team generously supports our laundry facilities, their members serve in the cafe, and their staff are a great support to our team. Happy Friday!

We served 2,178 hot meals last month and YOU helped make that possible. We received over 4200 pounds of food donations last month - so thank you for giving!!

Here are this week’s needs. The cafe items are used in-house for the meals we prepare and serve here. The meal kits go out to partner organizations and the little food pantries. The student needs help us reward the afterschool crew for being good neighbors and studying hard. So thank you for what you are able to provide!

Teen Tuesdays!

Each week afterschool, we collaborate with some amazing community organizations to bring new and fun experiences to our students.

We wanted to share some of the fun we are having with you! Shout out to Access The Arts for sharing Cam and bucket drumming with us. Special thanks to SPARK Medina for always inviting us to serve others in creative ways. High fives to our friend Ben and the team at Hope Recovery Community for the continued partnership!

Finally, a big thanks to Medina City Schools for the collaboration and use of the Garfield gym. Dodgeball and capture the flag are our favorites so far!!

Happy Friday! It’s been another great week serving our community. We have had a few busy days with over 120 hot meals served. Plus, our community fridge has been stocked with overflow and leftovers, offering take home meals to our guests as well.

THANK YOU for your donations - you are making an impact!

Here are this week’s needs. We want to highlight the meal kits we put together for our outdoor pantry, the little pantries around town and a couple of our partner organizations to help feed our neighbors. They have all the shelf stable ingredients needed with a recipe.
