We made new friends and saw plenty of familiar faces at the first arboriculture learning hub (ALH) workshop! It was a beautiful day to explore the property, learn about invasive pests and the diverse trees at Millborn Farm. Thanks to Tawny Simisky (UMass Extension) and Joann Vieira (Trustees) for leading the workshop. And thanks to the 60+ arborists who came out to learn and experience this beautiful property first hand!

Congratulations to Declan Regan, recipient of the MAA’s Gordon & Frances King Scholarship. He is a Keefe Tech grad headed to Stockbridge School of Agriculture in the fall - planning to major in Arboriculture and Community Forestry Management. A future industry leader for sure!
