We loved seeing so much purple across our community today. 💜

From our Women’s Services team to friends and supporters throughout the community, people showed up in purple for Purple Thursday and Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Wearing purple is a simple but visible way to stand with survivors, raise awareness, and remind others that support is available.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today. 💜

Pizza day at Women’s Services! 🍕

A huge thank you to Fatboy's Saloon for delivering pizza to our team. Our Bonner Student Naydean was all smiles when it arrived, and the whole office was grateful for the treat.

Gestures like this remind our staff that they’re supported while they show up every day for survivors in Crawford County. We’re so lucky to have neighbors who care.

Thank you, Fatboy’s! ❤️

Mark your calendar and find something purple! 💜

On Thursday, October 15, we invite our community to wear purple in recognition of Purple Thursday and Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Wearing purple is a simple, visible way to show survivors that they are seen, believed, and supported, and to stand together against domestic violence.

Whether it’s a purple shirt, ribbon, hat, or even a pair of socks, wear your purple on October 22 and help us fill Crawford County with support for survivors. 💜

And don’t forget to snap a photo and tag Women’s Services so we can see your purple!

What a wonderful show of support from our community!

Thank you to everyone who came out for Saturday’s Stuff-a-Bus event, held in memory of Kathy Brode, and helped fill the bus with much-needed items for Women’s Services.

Every donation helps ensure adults and children in our community have access to essential items when they need them, and we’re so grateful to everyone who donated, shared the event, and helped make the day possible.

It was a meaningful way to honor Kathy’s memory while continuing to support survivors throughout Crawford County. 💜

We are here until 4 PM! Help us fill the bus in memory of Kathy!!

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for our annual Domestic Violence Awareness Walk!

We were honored to hear from Alison Duiker, author of A Daughter’s Journey: ...and Story of Resilience. Alison shared the deeply personal story of her mother’s disappearance in 1981 and how, more than 40 years later, her father confessed last year to her mother’s murder.

We also heard from Mickie of the local chapter of Riders Advocating Against Child Abuse ( RAACA Crawford County ), who spoke about the importance of advocacy and support for children and families.

Thank you to everyone who walked with us, listened, and helped bring attention to the impact of domestic violence in our community.

🚌💜 Help us fill the bus this Saturday!

This Saturday, October 3, Women’s Services and GG&C Bus Company are coming together for a special Stuff-A-Bus in memory of Kathy Brode.

Kathy was a longtime champion of Women’s Services and the Meadville nonprofit community, and she helped organize our very first Stuff-A-Bus with GG&C. We’re honored to continue what she helped start by filling the bus with items that support adults and children staying at Women's Services.

Stop by the Big Lots parking lot between 12–4 PM with household and cleaning supplies, personal care and hygiene products, or over-the-counter health and wellness items.

Every donation helps us fill the bus, support those we serve, and honor Kathy’s legacy of giving back. 💜
