Teagan's Everlasting Touch This is a memorial for our daughter designed to help touch the lives of other tiny miracle babies. Sometimes heroes come in the tiniest packages.

Our Story

For my husband, Corey, and me, July 1, 2022 represented the most beautiful, and yet simultaneously frightening, day of our lives. This was the day that our strong in spirit, yet meager in size, little miracle baby made her grand entrance into the world. Teagan Ellis Tomko was born nearly three months prior to her due date and came in shy of one pound on the scales; weighing 13.1 ounces

to be precise. From the onset of her earthly debut, we instantly recognized and fell captive to her sweet, strong, and sassy personality. Her life was not one without struggles and was accompanied by a series of surgeries that took a toll on her little body. Despite only living for four-and-a-half months, all of which were in the NICU at both Hillcrest and Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, Teagan taught both Corey and me how to be fighters as being strong for her was the only option we had. Being parents of a NICU baby takes one on an emotional rollercoaster through a journey we hope and pray no parents have to experience in the future. However, we understand that parents are not always able to determine the outcome of their children’s lives, and that unfortunately, parents in the future will be faced with embarking on a similar journey that Corey and I found ourselves on during Teagan’s precious time here on this side of heaven. Since we were so touched by the support provided to us from multiple individuals and organizations over Teagan’s life, we want to pay it forward by helping those parents/families who give birth to premature miracle babies. This year, Teagan’s Everlasting Touch will raise money and help give back to the organizations that were immensely helpful to us through our journey with Teagan.

Nurses are true superheroes, deserving to be celebrated not just during Nurses Week, but every single day. Thank you for all that you do. I don’t think you fully realize the incredible impact you have on the lives of families with babies in the NICU. Your compassion, strength, and dedication mean more than words (or Chick-fil-A) can express, and we truly could not have made it through without our amazing nurses. With these warm temperatures, it feels like spring is just around the corner, so we're excited to announce our annual Teagan's Tee Time this summer! The event will take place on Sunday, June 28, with a shotgun start at 8:30. Last year's turnout was fantastic, and we're hoping for even better this year.

As 2025 comes to an end, we wanted to take a minute to reflect on all that Teagan's Everlasting Touch was able to do throughout the year. We had 3 successful fundraisers including Teagan's Tee Time, raffle ticket sales and Totes for Teagan. With the proceeds from these events we were able to donate:

-108 care packages (Hamot & St. Vincent)
-A closet full of items parents are able to use during their child's NICU stay (books, notebooks, phone chargers, blankets, chapstick, etc.)
-diapers/wipes
-clothes
-formula
-gift cards
-Christmas stocking care packages (Cleveland Clinic)
-and much more!

This makes our hearts so happy to be able to do all of this in Teagan's memory. Thank you all for allowing us to do this. Let's see what next year has in store!

🎅🤶 A chunk of my heart will forever remain in M31-Cleveland Clinic NICU. Santa and his little elves were able to deliver stockings filled with items for family/baby to each baby currently there. This is one of the most special things we have been able to do this far, with hopes of spreading a little cheer to these families who won't get to have their babies home for Christmas.
This was Teagan's home and her nurses were our family, so being able to give back a small gift to these families means the world to us! Huge thank you to one of Teagan's primary nurses (Brandie) for getting these all put together and delivered for us. We hope to make this a Teagan Christmas Tradition 🎄

WOW!!

So we get these crazy ideas to try new fundraisers, never really knowing what to expect, but we can tell you that yesterday's Totes for Teagan was a success! To those of you who came and played, donated baskets, sponsored our events this year, helped us run this, or supported us in any way....THANK YOU!! To our friends and family who we can always count on to be in on everything Teagan, we love you and couldn't do this without you! Without our communities support, we wouldn't be able to achieve our mission of helping these NICU families 💜
