15 of our Families First Early Head Start children are now moving on to attend FCCA Pre-K Counts, Child Development Centers, Inc. Willow Head Start, Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit 5, other ECE partners and Parents as Teachers home based programs. Community collaborations are great!! We will be joining Family Children & Community Association and NWPA WIC to celebrate the expectant and new families in Crawford County. We will be hosting a table with a sign up to receive a Welcome Every Child basket and a chance to win a breastfeeding bundle.

In addition to Kelly Schreck-Ehs and Melissa Proper hanging up flyers in Meadville and Townville, our partners NWPA WIC are hosting our materials daily at the Crawford County Fair. While you're at the fair, stop by and learn about the WIC program, and safe sleep and Early Head Start programs. Our staff is completing training this week, part of our training topics was safe sleep for baby. Always in alone, always on their back, and always in an approved safe crib/bassinet.
