The Meadville area is home to incredible, hardworking students who deserve every chance to succeed. Yet many face financial barriers that can limit their dreams. With your support, we can change that.
Since 1968, the Meadville Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Fund has helped students of all races and backgrounds pursue higher education. Managed by the Crawford Heritage Community Foundation, it awards scholarships each year to graduating seniors at Meadville Area Senior High School.
Thanks to generous donors, $10,747 in scholarships was awarded in 2025—but the need is even greater. Our goal is to grow these awards so that more students receive the meaningful support they need.
Your gift truly changes lives. Investing in the MLK Scholarship Fund provides local students with encouragement, hope, and financial support to attend college. And as they grow, learn, and often return to Meadville, they strengthen our entire community.
